It can only be avoided when running with the walking cane or a road. However,to back this up, it has only 150 HP, however, you still won't be able to kill it without getting hit once, as it attacks as fast as a frog, meaning only 1 hit at a time to kite it.Even worse, the yellow stinkbug will explode when it dies, dealing an additional 75 damage. If it hits you as maxwell without any armor, you will die. The reason stinkbugs may be even deadlier than all 3 hounds is its punch. When it attacks, it will split in 2, revealing its razor sharp teeth.
The diffence between the 2 is that while stinkbugs mouths are very small, whereas in Don't Starve 2: The Lost City, the whole stinkbugs insides are filled with razor sharp teeth. Like a green/brown/yellow shield with legs, wings, huge eyes and antennae. Stinkbugs look very similar to the real life stink bugs.
